Twitter has rolled out their new tick system and it might get confusing so here’s a simple guide for you to know what they mean.
First, there’s Twitter’s gold tick which indicates that the account is a verified official business account. So, social media companies, huge business companies and other entrepreneurs will have this after being verified.
And then there’s the grey tick which is only for government accounts that has been verified.
And let’s not forget the blue tick which is the most common tick of all and is given to users with a monthly subscription of 45 ringgit per month. And one feature that you get after subscribing is being able to edit your tweet after posting. However, Twitter will also be giving blue tick for free to high profiled accounts like celebrities or artists.
