Who’s the richest man on Earth? Well, it’s not Elon Musk for sure! And it’s not Jeff Bezos either. A new face has snatched the title and he is the fashion tycoon, Bernard Arnault.
According to Forbes, Bernard earns 38,000 USD in a minute. And he now has a total net worth of 186.2 billion USD whereas Elon is now at 182.8 billion USD. So you must be wondering, who is this guy? How is he so rich? Well, a little info about our richest man, Bernard, is that he is the owner of LVMH empire which oversees luxury fashion brands such as Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Givenchy, Marc Jacobs, Bulgari, Tiffany and Co, Sephora and up to around 70 other fashion brand companies.
Back in the early days, Bernard got his start by putting up $15 million from his father’s construction business to buy Christian Dior in 1985. And ever since that day, his empire has grown bigger and bigger to this day. He also has five children and four of his children work in the LVMH empire namely Frédéric, Delphine, Antoine and Alexandre.
Well, not sure if Bernard Arnault can hold onto that title for long since Elon loves the title a lot.
