Hypertension or high blood pressure is known as the silent killer. There are no symptoms yet that have a major risk factor for heart disease, kidney failure and stroke. Hence, scientists have been finding different ways in terms of lifestyle habits that can improve one’s condition.

The latest research showed that yoga may provide more benefits for controlling blood pressure than other stretching methods. By doing yoga for 15 minutes a day for 5 days a week, it can significantly improve the blood pressure and heart rates.

This study provides more evidence as to the health benefits of yoga and opens up the possibility of future studies in this area.
