I would say when Elon Musk announced his new brain chip implant, many called him crazy especially those who feared that robots would take over the world one day. However, scientists have taken that idea and some even try to develop their own version of mind chips and this field of science is called neurotechnology.

A group of researchers is suggesting that having electronic brain implants could allow lawyers to quickly scan years of background materials and cut costs in the future. Researchers debate that with mind chips implanted in a lawyer’s brain, he or she could remember and scan through documents quicker. However, some also worried that one’s privacy might be infringed since these data from the chips implanted can be shared. Imagine having a chip implanted in your brain and your clients and boss can access these memories and brain activity to see your progress and perhaps even manipulate your thinking. It’s quite dangerous.

And thus, researchers also suggest the implementation of the regulation of neurorights. Nevertheless, it looks like this technology might happen sooner than we think.
