Now that the world is filled with filters and editing apps, perhaps you should challenge yourself to post unfiltered photos of yourself on the internet? A new social media app has been taking the internet by storm and it’s called the BeReal.
What’s so special about this app is that you don’t get to post whenever you want. The app actually decides when you should post a photo. At some point in your day, you’d get a notification to post a photo and you have 2 minutes to post, if the 2 minutes is up, you’re not going to be able to see what your friends have posted. And in that 2 minutes time frame, you just have to take a photo and there’s no filters or edits for you to make you look flawless or whatsoever. You won’t have any followers, you won’t have any likes.
Over in the US and the UK, the BeReal app has surpassed popular apps such as Facebook in terms of downloads in just over a month. So, are you up for the challenge?
