YouTube is rolling out a new feature in order to blend into the world of new tech. They made an announcement that YouTube handles are coming our way.
What handles you ask? Well, it’s the similar appearance you see on usernames on Twitter and Tik Tok. The ones where you type aliases and you can enter someone’s user name to tag them.
It’s pretty confusing because what does this handle do and how is it different from the YouTube channel name? So, YouTube handles are meant to be totally unique to each YouTube channel. While multiple YouTube channels can have the same channel name, YouTube handles cannot be repeated. With this handle, it is expected to help make finding your specific channel easier and more visible to the public.
