Well, it looks like after the previous news about Adidas putting their contract with Kanye West under review, it is now reported that Adidas has terminated partnership with Kanye who is also known as Ye.
The sportswear company released a statement saying that Ye’s recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful and dangerous and they do not share the similar view as Ye as it violates the company’s value of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness. So, after a thorough review, they decided to terminate the partnership immediately and end production of Yeezy branded products and stop all payments to Ye and his companies.
Looks like Ye’s idea of free speech has cost him one of the biggest deals in his lifetime. Not sure what Ye will do next but hopefully nothing bad.
