Mario is one of our childhood games and it is still dominating the gaming market right now. And while most games these days are going into the 3D gaming style and interface, Mario is thinking otherwise.
It was reported that a new Mario game is in the works and rather than making it 3D, the game will be going back in time to make it 2D style. According to insider news, the 2D game will feature a new art style and will take some people by surprise. The game is also expected to be released somewhere in 2023 or latest by 2024. And since the Super Mario Bros movie will be released in April 2023, many suggest that this could be yet another product to be launched alongside the movie.
Nevertheless, this is still unofficial news leaked by an insider. For the real deal, let’s wait and see if Nintendo will be making any announcement soon. Pretty sure, 80s and 90s fans are excited for this ultimate throwback of 2D Mario gameplay.
