If you ever dream of having a robot as your personal assistant or as a butler to help you with chores, well, it seems like having a robot as a butler is no longer a dream.
The parent company of Google, Alphabet has created an artificial intelligent mechanical robot that can perform a range of tasks. So, most robots are only able to interpret simple and to -the-point commands like “bring me a glass of water” but for this new robot created, it’s able to respond to indirect requests, for example you spilled your drink and you say “I spilled my drink, can you help?” The robot will then filter what you say and interpret the question as “fetch me the sponge from the kitchen”.
However, these robots are not yet ready for still since more work needs to be put into them. Well, while Alphabet is doing their best to up their robot game, Tesla will be announcing their humanoid robot prototype this coming September 30th. Let’s stay tuned.
