So ever since WhatsApp became a sub-company under Meta, they’ve been constantly updating their softwares to somehow give users a similar experience to using Facebook. The most recent updates gave users the feature to react to messages with emojis. But only with fixed five emojis.
And now it was announced that WhatsApp will soon allow users to react to messages with any emojis you’d like using their upcoming “plus” icon. You can add any emojis you want to use into the emoji bars and everytime you want to react to the messages you can have your own preferred emojis. And I think pretty sure most of us wanted to add more emojis like the eye roll emoji, angry face emoji or maybe the finger emojis.
As of right now, we’re not entirely sure when WhatsApp will roll out this feature but based on previous experience, WhatsApp will slowly roll out the features according to region and according to users as well. Let’s hope it will reach us soon! What emoji do you want to use the most?
