Fuel is a type of a non-renewable energy and while most companies are slowly introducing “fuel” that are more environmentally friendly like using an alternate source of power like solar energy or electrical energy, researchers have found another creative alternative fuel.
Researchers found that another source of fuel can be obtained from a unique carbon molecule and a bacteria that’s found only in soil. These bacterias known as streptomyces have the ability to create Jawsamycin which is a molecule that would work a lot like biodiesel. It is able to create explosive energy, thus, suitable to generate power in a car and possibly even for a bigger vehicle like a rocket.
This definitely looks like an incredible alternate source of fuel. The question now is, how much of these bacterias do we need to power a normal car? Let’s leave the question for the researchers to unravel.
