And now, a biomaterial innovation company named Modern Synthesis based in London is developing a bacterial nanocellulose material.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/teafm.com.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Thread-made-from-nanocellulose-1024x545.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4907\" width=\"586\" height=\"303\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Modern Synthesis has raised four million dollars in seed funding and they will be using the ability of the bacteria to transform sugar from agricultural waste into nanocellulose, a particularly fine and strong form of cellulose. And together with cutting-edge textile production techniques, they will incorporate nanocellulose into the techniques to create a novel range of natural non-woven materials.
