Mental illness has become one of the serious problems among youngsters. And a study showed that thinking too hard can cause a build-up of toxic chemicals in your brain.

Neuroscientists discover that the reason we experience mental fatigue is due to the toxic chemicals that begins to build up in the brain after it has been active for extended periods of time, meaning you think too much and after that, your brain will shift towards actions that do not require as much effort to avoid circulating this chemical known as glutamate. And hence, that’s how you become fatigued and lose the ability to focus and work.

Scientists also recommend that if we hit a dead end, don’t force yourself to think too much. Instead, stand up and walk around, talk to someone, play some games. The idea is to get refreshed before coming back and working on the problem again.
