Now, I’ve shared plenty of news about fashion companies making their products compostable. Today, news has it that a menswear brand, Gomorrah is launching a 100 percent compostable menswear line.

The Gomorrah new collection will feature plant-based, compostable products made with 100 percent certified organic materials and it is vegan friendly, environmental friendly and animal friendly. Even the buttons on the apparels are compostable.

C-founders of Gomorrah, Itzett Romero and Max Sudak said that “traditional garment making is emission heavy and unhealthy for factory workers and their surrounding communities. And so, Gomorrah is working to solve post-consumer textile waste and the answer is not to stop purchasing clothes but to make fashion sustainable.”

Let’s hope more and more big luxury brands will take on this new fashion trend as well.
