Earlier this year, there have been rumours of a live action Thundercats movie in the talks but that’s all we’ve heard so far and there were no further updates. And over the course of a few months, fans have posted their own candidates to play the main characters in Thundercats. And now, an artist has gone viral after one of his drawings of his choice for the role of Lion-O went viral.
The artist who goes by Samukarts as his Instagram handle name posted a drawing of Henry Cavill as the Thundercats’ main character, Lion-O. He also did drawings on other characters but his version of Lion-O caught the attention of the internet. Everyone is saying how suitable Henry would be in the role and now that everyone has seen it, everyone wants Henry to play that role.
We’re not sure if there will be any updates on the live action movie but we’re definitely keeping our fingers crossed real tight for Henry to secure the part. Who else do you think should be part of the cast of Lion-O?
